Greener Village’s mission is to create community self-reliance by providing food, clothing and support to New Brunswickers in the Fredericton area. In partnership with the province’s network of food banks, Greener Village is building Atlantic Canada’s first Perishable Food Rescue Centre where fresh produce can be transformed into shelf-stable food and distributed throughout New Brunswick. The McCain Foundation supports both Greener Village and the provincial food bank network to alleviate food insecurity in New Brunswick.
