Ronald McDonald Houses provide sanctuary and support to rural families whose children require medical attention only available in children’s hospitals located in city centres. The McCain Foundation made the single largest donation in its history with a $1.5M gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta for two new houses in Calgary and Edmonton. The Foundation has also supported the construction of Ronald McDonald Houses in Halifax, Winnipeg and St. John’s.
